Like an idiot I thought the Northbridge was the GPU

I applied the ICD7 to the CPU/Northbridge Heatsink and have been using the 7805U for the last few months.

Now that I have realized I never applied it to the GPU.... Does this mean I have to remove the heatsink from the CPU/Northbridge before I can get at the GPU to apply some ICD7?

it says in the tear done of the 78XX FX thread that the CPU and nothbridge heatsink is removed first before I can get to the GPU. Is this true? so there is no way to apply the ICD7 without removing the CPU/Northbridge Heatsink?

To get to the GPU you pretty much have to disassemble the whole rig. So yeah, you'll have to reapply it to the CPU/northbridge again

so I will have to remove all the old ICD7 from the GPU/northbridge to do the job right? I would hate to waste the ICD7 because I am not sure if I have enouph left over.

will one small tube of ICD7 be enouph for the whole job?

I had 3 tubes but wasted some of it... what I have left now is one fresh tube of ICD7(the smaller size) and 2 used tubes of ICD7 with a little bit left(not sure how much though).
