i read in some thread (can't find it) where someone popped a couple screws off the front and was able to install the bluetooth cable without completely taking the laptop apart....anyone done it or know how to do it ( or have pictures of them doing it. Don't want to break it in the attempt, but also don't want to get it apart and then have a struggle putting it back together.

nevermind, i found it, unless someone else has greater detail in regards to pulling up the front of the palm rest in order to slide your hand in with the cable.

Krighton, was there another place showing the "palmrest" method? Big Mike's method will for sure work, but I don't want to have to take apart the computer more than absolutely neccessary. I lose screws....

i've only seen 2 posts that talk about lifting the palm rest, i'm certainly going to try it when i get my bluetooth, but i'd really hate to break the plastic. Taking off the monitor to do it seems a touch extreme. To stick my fingers inside it MUST lift up quite a bit to allow not on my fingers but also to ability to cram it into it's slot. Or, are people using tweezers to do the process.

i think it all depends on the size of your fingers needless to say i couldnt do it and had to take the whole thing apart which isnt as hard as it looks really. a trick i learned in order to not loose screws is to tape the holes off when you loosen the screw enough. for the inside screws get a long strip of tape (ive also used styrofoam) and just stick em on to that as you take it apart labeling them all with a sharpie (just stick the tape to a piece of paper and write on the paper) you could also draw a little diagram as to what screw goes where but for most of em there all the same size.

LOL, thanks for the hand info :p I've got big banana hands so I guess I'll just take the whole thing apart.
