    will the intel 5300 work on my laptop Gateway m-6862

    any websites i can get this from for cheap if it is compatible.

    Amazon.com has fairly good prices and quick delivery for thw WiFi 5300. Don't know about compatability for the M-6862 though.

    The 5300 requires 3 antennas. Your 6862 like my 7805, only has 2 antennas.

    if u buy an wifi 5300 or 5350 on ebay they usually include all 3 new antennas.
    I would go for the fullsize also, should work fine then, and do what sparkyman suggested third ant around the screen,
