My first post! I registered just to say "yes" to this poll :)

In fact, I canceled by Inspiron 1521 order so that I can see this new laptop first and compare them. M150 already wins by the looks!

I'm also considering canceling my 1520 order. How likely is it that the new laptop will be available to order online on the 22nd?

I just chatted with a sales rep. She said I should expect the laptop on the Gateway site by the end of the week.

Would anyone know how good the highest possible graphics card on the gateway M150 will be? and well it performs?

    Thanks.

I spoke to a rep about these, and he at first said the 26th, then last week told me today July 25. There's nothing on the website, and nothing even in retail stores around my area.

I've seen both the 14.1" and 15.4" laptops at Bestbuy. No where else.

    From a Gateway rep:

Hi Joe, the release date for the M and T series has been pushed back until the 5th of August. I apologize for any inconvenience.

    Thanks, Cody

That doesn't sound good. I canceled my 1520 order and I need a laptop soon for college. I'll wait until the weekend and if is still doesn't show, I'll probably get a sony.

I just talked to another rep. He also said that the laptop has been delayed at least until next week.

I'm pretty interested in this thing. I'm trying to find reviews of this and other laptops with the Radeon 2400 in them, particularly about how long they go on battery. Other's I'm thinking of are Toshiba A200 or P200 or Asus A8SR. I wasn't happy with my Asus Z81K though, they dumped support for that pretty quickly and I no longer trust them. For the moment this Gateway is at the top of my list.

P.S. Specs show an HDMI port. Does this allow HDCP output to an extermal display with HDCP, and/or HDCP direct to the laptop screen?

Anyone have battery runtime results of any kind? Can you order the 9-cell battery INSTEAD OF the 6-cell primary battery, looks like it's an additional thing and I'd have a 6-cell battery I don't want to have at all. How much bigger is the 9-cell and what does it look like attached?

Are there more/better pictures than the limited view on the Gateway store website? My current second choice is the Toshiba A200-ST2043 which seems to have a second hard drive bay (neat). I hadn't thought it had the fingerprint scanner or webcam like M150 has, as it's not on the main specs listing but does seem to be in the fine-print detailed spec page, but doesn't indicate webcam res for the A200. :( Toshiba also does not indicate an HDMI port.
