    Hello,

I want to buy an invisible shield for my 6860fx (zagg.com) its basically a military grade plastic cover that protects it from scratches and stuff, Ive got a few of them for some of my gadgets (iphone, micropc, macbook air...) and its phenomenal, its completely invisible and you won't scratch it with nothing...

Thing is, the only model listed on their page is the P-6301 http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/gateway-p-6301-cases-covers-skins-shields.php

Im pretty sure its the same chassis as the 6860fx am I correct?

I wanna know before i buy it because its not that cheap lol...

So if anyone knows I would appreciate it.

    thanks

 you should be able to use 17" screens for other laptops.

The invisible shield units tend to be for only the chassis, screens are separate.

Yea I'll probably be looking into one of these. Is it extremely noticeable when it's on the laptop? I have no problem spending $40 extra bucks to help protect my $1,300 investment.

You can get 17" screen protectors almost anywhere they sell laptops.

The screen isn't that prone to scratches, at least in my experience... This is to protect the outside of your laptop.

Completely invisible, you don't even see blurriness or something, you have to look really really close to notice it. Also if you get air bubbles in, don't ask me how but they go away in 2-3 days... I left some nasty air bubbles in my iphone and the manual said that they would go away in a few days, and they did :)

I already ordered mine, this is my fifth invisible shield, believe me...they are worth it.
