Hi guys, my first time here. I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea how I

could fix my Gateway. The screen on some websites and mostly video games

is sort of blurry in locations, usually along the bottom and side of the

screen. Its pretty annoying. A customer service person from Gateway said

my graphic card might be corrupted and I went ahead and reinstalled the

drivers, but its still doing the same thing. Help!

Do you have your screen resolution set at 1920x1200?

I'm really trying everything I can think of .. I keep adjusting screen resolutions. Warcraft 3 seems really bad. WoW only appears blurry around my hotkeys and abilities in the lower part of the screen.

See if a screenshot captures what's going on. If it does, post it so we can take a look.

Is it just in games or is it on the desktop too? Try going to the pixel testing websites and go full screen and see how sharp it is.

Okay .. how would I capture the image of the flickering/tearing? Any time I use a item like Snipping it just makes the picture clear when its a screenshot. I dont have a digital camera.

Can you hook up an external monitor to eliminate one variable?
