This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is it by design for the bluetooth icon to go away on 7805u

    after a few minutes...is that a power option that turns off the bluetooth (i'm guessing it turns off) when the laptop is not plugged in. I'm not using a bluetooth device, just wondering if it's supposed to do that by itself. i guess it's just the icon that goes away, if i do a fn f6 twice i get the icon back.

    never mind, by design, was set for hide when inactive...still punch drunk from my laptop chaos last night.
