Money issues aside, would you trade in the 6860 for that? I'm guessing it's a bit better cpu, a bit weaker gpu (maybe compensated by the smaller size of the laptop/screen resolution itself), better soundcard, no bluetooth, same everything else. Also sweet razer mouse and backpack.
If facing with the choice to make a switch, no additional $$ requided, would you?

The GPU is the exact same, no weaker, no stronger. Yes I would do it because the 6860 is just too big and bulky for my liking, also due to the Centrino 2 platform. The screen can be swapped for, IMO the best resolution for 15.4", WSXGA.

Thanks for the input
Anyone else?
Looks like if this bestbuy deal is still going in a couple of months when I visit the states, I might go ahead with the switch. -
The sale will be over Sunday....

dangit!
How far ahead do you have eyes on deals?
I'm looking at going during easter week. Still, just the asus laptop itself is looking pretty good at $1k.
btw thanks for your replies, reppin' you -
Hey no problem, that's what we're here for. As for the deals I can see the fliers a week ahead of time when I'm home, but I'm currently away at school.

Edit:
I also forgot to take max resolution into account so the vid cards should provide about the same performance
Is it worth it going from a stock 6860 to this??
