The fan is always on and it keeps going from low to medium speed. The idle temperature is 49C and i have 7805u. when i play crysis for an hour or two, the highest temp was 68C

No nothing wrong with your GPU. Its called (for lack of a better name) pulse cooling.

In the 78xx series instead of a constant fan that would increase RPM's as needed gateway used a system that would use VERY low RPM's most of the time (for a very quite fan) but would then "pulse" up to very high RPM's to cool the machine quickly and then drop back down to the lower and quieter RPM's

I assume the thought was to make an overall quieter notebook... but all it really acomplished was making it annoying. My 6860 has a constant very quiet hum while my cousins 7805 is almost dead silent... but on the other hand mine stays at a constant quiet hum and ever so ofter his WEEEEEEEEEEEE's and then goes back to almost dead silent.
Over all its a noise you cant "get used to" and tone out like mine

Or put it on a NC2000 and let the cooler keep it down at the lower 49C for you.............
