I was thinking about getting one for my little sister for her B-day, to do homework and maybe drawing. She has a camera and also likes to take pictures.

It's a netbook and it's somewhat underpowered but it's super portable and is great for basic web browsing and word processing. The only issue may be that the 1024x600 resolution is kind of limiting and can only fit part of a word document on the screen.

I think Andyroo hit it on the head. Its a netbook. If I were to do homework on anything or extended word processing, I would get something with a 15" screen and a better/bigger keyboard. The one on the LT21 series is flat and small so if you do touch typing, it sucks. Its not as bad as typing a term paper on your phone but after a few sentences on the LT21 and you'll be looking for something else.IMO and FWIW. ;)
