    I really don't play PC games anymore, but I want to get Strarcraft 2, and eventually Diablo 3, maybe a MMO that's not Warcraft... Would this be wasted money, or a good upgrade? I wouldn't go out and buy the newest chip, just one to keep me up to par.

    How hard is it to replace the CPU on these laptops?

    A CPU upgrade is really worth it. You can choose from the T8300, T9300, T9500, X7800, X7900, and the X9000. The T9300 has the best price/performance ratio.

    A CPU upgrade in the Fx series is very easy.

    Do you know where I can find some of the older CPU's? I'll probably get it around Christmas or maybe black friday if there's a killer deal. Maybe by that time I can get something even better for the price I'd pay now. :confused:

    But New Egg, Zip Zoom Fly, and Tiger Direct only have the newest ones.

    Should I get 1 more GB of ram for 4? GSkill has 2x2GB for like $80 on NE.
