    That sucks wish there was because the cooler on the 6860fx is really good.

    Indeed! If it was possible, then I doubt overheating would ever be an issue with the CPU.. Atm Im maxxing at 50c temps with my T8300 (upgraded CPU).

    Unfortunately, Gateway made it impossible for us to overclock, UNLESS you buy an Extreme CPU.

    Yep thats the simple and dirty of it. Join the Cool Kids Club or stick with what you have. Unfortunatly even us that paid the premium for the XCPU's are still stuck at 3.0gHz so its really not that huge of an honor unlike some of the nuts with 3.6gHz+ clocks on their x9000's in Sagers :(
