This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     That is the wieght difference between the Gateway 8510GZ that I have had for 2.5 years and the P-171XL FX Edition.

    I just found this site this last weekend. I am amazed. On this very board, I can go back to the fall of 2005 and read posts of the same questions and problems that others had with thier 8510GZ that I had with mine.

    Thank you, NBR. I have found a resource I will never be without.
