Also, which one is "safer" to buy? I've been reading this thread and I couldn't help but gain a new fear on the screen size.
Also, why is the 7805 cheaper on BestBuy then then 7801 on NewEgg?

EDIT: Okay I guess the real question I'm asking is which store should I buy my laptop from?

7805 1440x900 7801 1920x1200
Unless you got an early 7805 1920x1200 -
Wait so they don't sell the 7805 1920x1200 anymore?
Also you never really answered my question.... just told me which screen size goes with which model. -
digitaledge gave you the specs but, according to reports, some of the later 7805 batches still have the 1920 screens. The problem is it's sort of a crapshoot unless you can find a store that has the *exact* batch number as has been reported as having a 1920 screen. It doesn't appear as if there was ever a time when the 7805 had the 1920 screen spec'd, as did the 7801; no one is really 100% certain why the majority of the earlier batches had the higher res displays or why some of the later batches still do.
Regardless, the Newegg price for that 7801 has come down $400; last time I looked (not too long ago), it was $1599. $1199 is a great price, all things considered. Tiger Direct has lowered their price on the 7801 as well but it's still $100 more than Newegg. -
I read the review online from Best Buy and one person claims he got the 1920 screen after getting the 1440. -

Just for clarification, which is better? The 7805 or 7801?
