Okay, I know a few weeks back some people were doubting that Gateway would send restore/recovery CDs to you free of charge. I told them they had shipped me some and I was just waiting on them. I was told that I would only be believed when I actually got them.

Well I got them today...so start believing :D

I tried finding that old post...but ya, didnt happen.

Hmm, I just spoke to a representative about the restore CDs and they are offering to charge me $9.95 + $10 shipping and tax. Apparently there's a 90 day software warranty.

90 day software warranty? I think that when I ordered my restore CDs it might of just been within 90 days. I am not sure though.

One thing I know though, is that the rep who ordered the CDs for me did not mention any 90 day warranty.

Just yell at them if you need the CDs that badly. They will give in :)
