I did just buy a T9900 OEM from extremeprocessor on ebay for $435...he would not give me any price break.....

I hope his excellent reputation is well deserved...I will let you know how it works....

Capper thank you so much again for your video guide to the CPU replacement for the P-7811 FX!!!

    I keep my fingers crossed!!!

    Regards

Lucky!! I've been wanting one but really am finding it hard to drop over $400 when I don't really need it too much, I wonder what the preformance boost will be like. Congrats!

Congrats and good luck, still not ready to take the plunge myself and its not that I'm not willing to open her up (2x 200GB HDD raid 0, bluetooth and blu-ray...what is it with all this blue). Still hoping that quad core can be installed in the 7811.

Ranger, I hear you...I just took a leap of faith....personally i do not think e will ever see quad core support on the 7811....and we could have thermal issues anyway...

    Congrats !!
I bought from extremeprocesor before and I was very satisfied.
    Great package and great price.
    I'll probably buy QX9300 from him/her soon.
