So I've been looking for laptop coolers recently since the area I play in has little ventilation and I've playing that way for quite a while so recently I tried elevating it, it lowered the temps but I don't want to continue playing that way so I found this...

My laptop is a Gateway P6831, 17" inch, that other ones I found seem too small so I need everyone's help : )

I use 2 different coolers... for traveling I use the Antec Cooler S which is pretty handy........ but when I use my FX at home I use a Zalman NC2000 which does a pretty nice job of cooling.... There may be better alternatives now sine I got them over a year ago... but they are still def worth checking out

I use a custom cooler that i built out of a serving tray. I positioned all 4 fans to hit all of the "vents" in the underside of the FX.

I think i'm going to do something like azrickster did and just make one out of a laptop stand so i dont have to worry with it anymore (its a bit heavy)
