I was bored to day so i decided to take the time to find a way so my laptop can run cool. So i decided to do the copper mod to my GPU and under volt my CPU as well and right now i am very pleased with the results so here they are before and after. This was after playing Call of Duty 4 on high settings for 40 minutes.

    Vista power option: high performance.
What i got after the undevolt and copper mod:
    *CPU - 15c less
    *GPU - 10c less
    *ACPI -10c less
    ---NICE HUH. :)

LEFT ONE BEFORE - RIGHT ONE AFTER :D

That's impressive. I was able to get a 10c drop on my cpu so I'm jealous. I had some trouble keeping my laptop temp down until I made sure it was tilted up enough for the intake fans to work properly. I know that may sound dumb but it worked.

not only did your temps decrease which increases the lifetime of your components, but you will also be getting better performance since the heat and stress on the component generally go hand in hand

Funny thing actually i used a penny and sanded it down to a 1mm took a while but it was worth it. The Penny was from 1975.Anything from 1970 to 1980 should work 98% copper and 2% zinc.

Impressive. Plus, i envy your very low HDD temp... Mines seem to never go cooler than 45C, even at resting.... = (
