I tried to do a search, but couldnt really find a thread shorter than 8 pages :-/

There all on the first page with links.. -
bah, beat me to it
. The Zalman NC2000 or the Cyro should do the trick. A lot of members recommend the Zalman, but in order for the best performance they suggest that you rotate the cooler 180 degrees so the hole line up with the rear laptop vents.

Wow that a long thread.
There are like 30 different coolers...
Could someone recommend one?
Thanks though, and if no one answers Ill take a better look at that thread. -
The Zalman NC2000 works really well.

The one i built that has a dedicated fan for the CPU, GPU, Hard drives, and motherboard.
4 fan cooling for the win! -

Cost of supplies and shipping?
They are amazingly simple to make.
I bought 2 of the targus laptop coolers for next to nothing and i ripped the fans and the on/off switch out.
I bought a 4port USB hub
I bought a serving table (a cutting board or any similar good quality wood will do the same job)
Took my hole saw bit and bored 4 holes into the board (at the exact locations of the GPU intake, the CPU intake, the middle of the hard drive intakes, and the odd little vent by itself that passivly cools the mobo) and then using finishing washers i screwed the fans over the holes.
You can just set the laptop on it like that or you can use a sheet of wood/plexiglass to "sandwich" the fans to get a more flat and polished look.
I'll be making another one soon and upgrade it. Thinner materials and better quality fans. A buddy can get me carbon kevlar (kind of like carbon fiber but well made with kevlar as well) so i'm going to try my hand at that and the sandwich method. -
ive asked this question in the other thread with no replies so i thought i copy it over here and maybe will get some input.
"anyone tried copper mod on GPU? how significant was the temp drop? im really tempted to do the copper mod on chipset and GPU."
not that i have probs with temps, since w/e im gaming i raise the back a bit but i'd still like to see few degrees drop if the mods mentioned above allow it. thanks -

You'll shave a few degrees off... but is it worth the effort?
You might get something spectacular our of the mod, but typically 1-2 degrees is all you are able to squeeze out of all the effort. -

Ah, Well i dont mobile my cooler anyways. Its for sitting at the house so i can push my system a bit harder or just to keep icy temps.
When i travel i dont use anything special except undervolting the CPU and a good driver for the GPU and underclock it.
The most "hard core" games i play are Neverwinter Nights 2 and Dawn of War 2... so i'm not a high end gamer. I underclock the snot out of my video card and still break 60-100 FPS in those games so i'm never really worried about temps.
But the cooler lets me push pretty hard if i want to and want to try the higher end games or when i'm running my CPU at 100% for a few hours when i'm rendering the history/progression of my home made planet. Other than that i use my x9000 at 2.8 and my vid card with about 2/3s of its stock clocks
Laptop cooler for 6860fx?
