Which laptop graphics card will give me better performance?

The ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 2600 HT or the Nvidia 8800M GTS ?

    ....
The 8800M GTS will eat the HD2600 alive.

    It will eat it alive.

    The 8800M GTX is roughly 2.5 - 3x the 8600M GT.

The 8800M GTS is about 10-20% slower than the 8800M GTX.

The HD2600 is slightly slower than the 8600M GT.

    Does that answer your question?

    No joke.

But you wont find a 8800 GTX in 15 inch unless you pay 2000+
You can find a HD Radeon 2600 in a 15 inch, the cheapest i know of, for 899.

If you are looking for 17 inch, then you wont have that much problem as a 15 inch.

i was being generous using an XT since the HD2600 scores we're lower. and he said HT so i used the XT. thought he also might have made a typo.

    edit: here go the hd2600
and it sits right where it's suppose to sit being a 128 bit card, now if it we're a 256 bit card...then it would be up somewhere with the 8800m gts. (speculation of course)
