Ok, at least for the 7500 series but this probably applies to others also.

When it got to the last one (the "scroll" key actually)it says that it would turn off the number lock for the number pad to which I silently wondered what they were possibly talking about.
This may be old news to some of you but it was new to me. It turns out that if you look over the right portion of the keyboard you will notice the little blueish numbers that are on the keys. These are also lined up basically like a traditional number pad which you can now turn on and off with your Num Lock (FN + Scroll).

Edit: After more poking around I discovered that you can also automatically mute the sound if you press both the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time.
