I dont see how they are any better then regular tech support. I tried getting help for my reaccuring display driver error and he starts off by blaming microsoft update. Then he asks what driver i have in it aand i telll him the newest on the nvidia website. He then puts me on hold and comes back 3 minutes later and tells me its an intel branded video card and puts me on hold while he looks up a few more things. Im still on hold as we speak, i honestly expected more...

So i give him a little credit for being dilligent about my issue. He said this is a common issue with this graphics card n he said he would call/email back once he could figure out how to fix the issue.
My concern was he basically kept saying that i had a software issue and i basically had a 1200 paper weight. He told me they dont deal direct with the customer so i couldnt just send it to them and have them give me a new laptop, that i had to do it through bestbuy. My problem is gateway didnt fix OR tell me i had to go to best buy to have this fixed the first time i sent it in months ago.
one more plus, the level 2 gave me free shipping to send it in to have the keyboard and mouse click fixed, even though when i was talking to india they argued with me for 2 hours about how "Im not able to receive free shipping because apparently i dont meet either of the 2 requirements". Man i hate tech support. Now i apparently have a 1200 paper weight... Ebay? woo..
