    Ok so I'm about to buy an M-152XL and I was wondering...

    are there any major issues with this laptop that I should be aware of? I've done a fair amount of research that indicates no, but I just wanted to make sure. Also, would anyone recommend a different computer over this one (similar in price)?

    Has anyone had any issues with battery life and/or stability under large processor/video loads (ie: 3D model generation in matlab or mathematica).

    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hey Namo, I just ordered one of these myself tonight. I searched and researched for about two weeks before pulling the trigger on this notebook. I searched far and wide and could not find another notebook which had the specs to match this one for the price and you won't either.

    The video card is one of the best available in a 15" check out this thread;

    The only real downside that I could find was the screen resolution is only 1280x -EDIT- 800. Not a big deal when you look at everything else that is great with this laptop.

    I can't wait to get mine!!!!

    the max res is 1280x800 not 1280x1024. I love mine, no issues besides Vista related so far.
