What do you guys think? I dont think i will particularly ever need the 8800 but ya, was wondering what u guys recommend.

    M-152XL 949.99
    P-6068fx 1249.99 (i think right now)
F-172x fx 1299.99 (i hear u can get 200 bucks off if you talk to sales rep so maybe 1099.99?)

why? i would prefer a 15 inch over a 17 inch, and its cheaper. as i said i dont think i will ever need the 8800 but its a consideration; the 152XL has a 8300 so i wouldnt have to upgrade either, just the ram a couple of years down the road if i need to

i configured one to 1031.475 after the total 15% off extra discount (5% student + 10% coupon) and the only difference i see between the 152XL and the T61 i configured is the 152XL has a Radeon 2600 HD 512 card while the T61 has a Quadro 140M 128 card. And the lenovo "Ships between 2-3 weeks" =(

the 1299 version of the 172fx comes with the 5750

it is already 100 off so try to get 100 more off

I think the best buy version is the best it has a better hard drive. when you wait for it to go on sale it will be exactly the same price.

The GW rep WILL stack the $75 coupon on top of other discounts. You just need to negotiate. It works!

Wrong! My friend got one for $1550 without 3 year warranty. He had the same configuration as you too. But then again, he's a smooth talker.
