    M-6750 fried

    Hi
    Anybody experienced this. I put my red m-6750 to sleep and 20 mins later tried to wake it up, wouldn't turn on. It was plugged in, so I reseated the battery and as soon as I put the battery back in, sparks came out of the vga connector. Then it was smoke coming out..
    Basically the notebook was fried, wouldn't turn on.

    Very Strange, haven't experienced like this with any of the laptops I've owned. Called up gateway escalated to level 2 being a safety issue.
    Hopefully they'll replace it for me rather than repair it
