I'll post it here in case you don't get to the other thread.
Gateway has a handful of XP (32 I believe but they don't specify) drivers on there driver website-
http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/mydl.asp?tab=MY&os=Windows XP
be aware though, they won't let you in without your laptops serial number.
Also in my experience it takes a long time for the driver to load up and ask you to save it, regardless of your internet connection. -
^ did you downgrade successfully to windows Xp
with all the hardware working?
such as network, etc. etc.? -

yeah all the drivers is pretty much on gateway website and i think when i checked for you i only saw about 3 drivers for XP on this laptop so your best choice is to go VISTA 64bit, which has the most drivers available

yea, but I am downgrading so I can softmod the videocard so I can use it for architecture.

complete lists
You cannot find them all on gateway's site.
Thats a pretty comprehensive list from slick deals.
I have everything running, but its still a little wonky under xp. Im dual booting to vista 64 bit and it runs much better. I need to keep xp for work though, stupid vpn only runs under old xp. -
Thank you for this!
