I recently bought a M-6862 and I finally successfully softmodded the ATI HD radeon HD2600 to a FireGL v5600! and downgraded to winxp 64

so far so good. If anybody is interested I can post tutorials and such.

Did you have to downgrade to XP 64 bit to accomplish this or can it be done with Vista Home Premium 64 bit as well?
