Receiving a fan error on M350.

One of the fans stops turning. Appears to be rubbing on a piece of plastic sheeting glued to the circuit boad below the fan assembly. I know that the fan is hanging up on the sheeting - if I move the fan impeller slightly it will operate.

Can this plastic sheeting be permanently removed? It appears that it's only purpose in life is to protect the items below if a bearing fails, however this is a new fan unit.

If it is required to maintain this item the question is what can be used to glue it it place.

A rather crummy design solution for a tight fit
