    The M460 has a limit of 2 gig. Can you put in a single 2 gig stick?

    If it has 2 slots, and says the maximum memory is 2 gigs, then it is 2 x 1 gig sticks. Besides, you want 2 x 1 gig stick in dual channel mode.
