I read this in a news post here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=19446 in which states that Gateway will be putting an Nvidia Go 6800 in their M680 laptop. Does anyone have any additional updated information about this move? I'm on the verge of selling my XPS2 in favor of getting the M680 since it's a bit more affordable and still has everything I need. College is getting a little bit more expensive.

Also, I'm a n00b when it comes to shopping Gateway. I know I can get a better deal on the Dell 9300, but I'd rather have an M680. Is there an education discount or some other incentives/coupons available to lower the cost?

They probably have a student discount, it's worth calling to learn about that program. As for the 6800, I haven't heard anything, but they're really not that promotional, it will just be available one day.
