    Guys,
I'm about to hand off my old trusty eMachines M6810 to my stepson and I'm trying to upgrade the CD burner to a DVD burner. There's several good ones out there that will work, but I'm having trouble finding one that looks "right". I tried a Samsung SN-S082H, but it had huge gaps around the faceplate and was recessed about 1/8" in. I have tried re-using the orginal cd faceplate and is not removeable. Any M68xx or Gateway 7400GX users have any better choices? I've even tried a used M6811 DVD (TS-L532a) and it looks great but I can't it to cut DVD's (even at 2x).

    Any thoughts?

    Help appreciated
