Ok i posted the other day but got the full story of what my brother did trying to fix it since he knows a really good amount.

The screen on my Gateway was starting to go, anytime i opened and closed the screen it would change colors randomly, thus one of the wires are bad causing it to make the screen do that at certain angles. My brother and i opened it up, while running(shouldeve turned it off, our fault) cause we were following an instructional. My screwdriver touched the metal foil stuff that touches the whole interior of the screens shell. I circled in red exactly where i touched it. Im almpst 100% sure its shorted out somewhere and no matter what i do i cant get it to turn back on. any info will be appreciated, THANKS!
