just purchased this laptop .. havent actually opened it yet ...

I usually purchase TOSHIBA's and most all TOSHIBA's come with RESTORE DISK ..

does anyone know if the MT3708 comes with a restore disk

and if not .. has anyone purchased one from GATEWAY ??????????? and if so how much were they asking for one ????????????

I believe the 3708 model number is a C.C set up .. very close tot he 3707 that BEST BUY had a while back

I have an MT6451 from Best Buy and I got 2 discs. One is an OEM Vista OS disc, clean install. The other is the OEM Vista OS + bloatware disc, bloated install. I am pretty certain you get the same thing.

I have this model, and mine came with a disc. I think the disc is a vista OS , as the friend said, but I didn't check this until now.

PS: im using XP on it (yes, I formatted my HD).
