    MT6840 sound drivers for Win XP?

    I am looking for xp sound drivers for this laptop MT6840 which came with Vista. I found all other drivers except sound drivers.
    Does anyone have any info. about this?

    hi,

    I have the same mt6840 notebook.
    Now, I want to install xp. In your post, you have mentioned that you have all the drivers which are compatible for xp to install in your notebook.
    I was wondering if you could send me the links for all drivers.

    You can get them from gateway's site. The only one you need is the sound driver and I have posted a link for it.
