I just got refurbished gateway MX6625 from Tigerdirect.com. The A/C power supply was bad right out of the box. I bought replacement one from eBay. When I plugged in the power supply the first time, it worked fine. Later on, the laptop started to act strangely. The power start to flicker and the laptop kept switching from A/C power to Battery and vise versa. I have never seen something like that before. Does any one have any idea what is causing that or how to fix it?

is the connection and connector between the power supply and notebook OK?

does it change if you "wriggle" it?
