I couldn't find any post related to Gateway MX6961 notebook. I bought it a month back from costco.ca
core 2 duo T7200, 2G ram, 120G HD, xp media center.

The function key F6 on keyboard has bluetooth icon printed on it but when I press Fn+F6 nothing happens, no bluetooth. Does this notebook has bluetooth?

Any hacks that I should do to improve performance.

I bought one too at Costco a few weeks ago. Did you ever find out a way to enable bluetooth on it.

No I applied all the windows update patches and the BigFix suggested packages and still no go. I read somewhere in its manual it says that Bluetooth is optional.
The latest is that all of a sudden the laptop's sound has gone. No clue how to fix it....checked all the normal places and settings...still no go.
