Hi, I am another confident customer who thought that Gateway would have ALL drivers online so I just re-partitioned my HDD w/o making the recovery CDs/DVD.
Well, I have surfed all around and I think I have all drivers EXCEPT for the WiFi adapter...it's supposed to be a Broadcom 4318E (I just opened the adapter bay and saw it).
Anyone would be so kind to send me the driver or a link yo get it.
Gateway's website tells that this model comes with an Intel2200BG...but I just saw a Broadcom on it...?????
Unfortunately, Optendo's link is down ( http://www.blackimperial.com/home/?page_id=13)
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks!

It is back up. The server was down for a CS 1.6 tourney. It is back up and in action! ;P

Thank ya optendo!

Thanks Optendo!!!!....I was losing faith....
)
I brought the Wifi to work mixing the Gateway Support downloaded drivers and ones from a Compaq 2310us that is supposed to use the same adapter.
Will change for this ones later.
After everything is in place this is very POWERFUL machine.. -
are you guys positive that these drivers are the same. Because it says these are drivers for the 7510GX
-
I sued the recovery disk that was included, and it did not load in all of the necessary drivers. I phoned Gateway, and they said that they would send me a drivers disk. I'm still waiting. Anyhow, Gateway does have four drivers on the board. Load in the chipset driver first.

The 7510 is like the 7515 only with a slower processor and 512meg of ram. With this and that and http://www.blackimperial.com/home/?page_id=13, I managed to get everything up with nothing bad in the device manager. I used the omega video driver and the computer seemed to run a lot faster. -
does the omega video driver double the hyper memory?
-
The laptop is not here right now. I can't say.
-
Yep....I bought mine with 128MB (hypermemory) and after Omega drivers it shows 256MB...NICE!!!

The mods should sticky a link to Optendo's site [Gateway 7510GX and MX7515 drivers http://www.blackimperial.com/home/?page_id=13] as it has better online Gateway support for the MX7515 drivers than Gateway!!!
Optendo, if you need MX7515 specific drivers to put on your site let me know. I have the driver DVD. -
-
There are now six drivers for the MX7515 on the Gateway site. These are for 32 bit systems. http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/mydl.asp?OS=Windows XP
MX7515 Drivers needed!!!
