I have a Gateway MX7515, and the notebook sometimes freezes, and usually doesnt power on at all unless I flip it over, take out the battery, replace the battery, and karate chopping the bottom of it repeatedly...

I can tell when the notebook has frozen when something in the notebook (fan or harddrive) start making a odd, but consistant, sound...

I believe that it may be power supply issue, but any help is apperciated...

PS. I sent it to gateway once already and they did nothing about it, although DHL was EXTREAMLY quick

Sounds like what happened to my Inspiron 4150 before it finally died. Does it get very hot? Do your fans still work? If not, then I suspect that your MB is in its last throes before dying - hopefully it's not but that's almost exactly like what happened to mine

Did you start karate chopping it before it started locking up? :D
I can only imagine that you got a lemon and you should return it to BestBuy so they can fix or possibly replace it.
    Maybe you have bad ram?

If they really said 13 days, you could get in a strong arguement there. It should be 14 day. Did you buy a service plan?
Oh, and don't forget that Gateway has a 1 year standard warrenty on all products. Contact Gateway if BestBuy blows you off. Gateway support has been great to me. BestBuy, on the otherhand, gives me regrets for purchasing there.
