    MX7515 Screen

    I wiped out the recovery partition and Windows XP Home system partition from the hard drive, and I installed Windows XP Pro SP2 on it. I found all the drivers and installed them properly.

    However, one thing I do notice is I can see the dots of the fonts on the screen clearer. Before the upgrade, I think the font is neater and you could hardly see the dots that build the fonts. May I know why and is that anyway to improve it?

    If you are confused by my statement above, please imagine the difference of font display in a SXGA mode comparing with XGA mode.

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Pretty simple but have you tried making sure that the "clear type" is selected in the effects part?

    I have the same computer and mine came with it already on but I do not nessasarily think that all Windows will install that way by default.

    you can find the clear type or true type, something like that, on microsofts site doing a search.
