I read that the USB 2.0 bus will show up as "enhanced", but the 4 usb ports show up in the system properties just like USB 1.0, did they make a mistake or did I get the wrong ports?

    I can't imagine it doesn't have USB 2.

Try using Windows Update to update your usb drivers.

Check with a different program the mobo specs...Sandra 2005 tells me that it has 2 USB 1.0 controllers and 1 USB 2 controller with speeds of 1.5Mbps to 480Mbps.

I will check how fast it goes with my external USB 2 hdd and let you guys know.

I wonder if the side and back USB ports are different speed...maybe that's why....have you checked with all plugs?

Looking deeper I realized that all my USB2 capable peripherials are recognized as USB2, but performance is really bad. My external HDD enclosure does only 7,8MB/s on Sandra2005 performance test...my old presario does 29MB/s !!!!!!
    Something is wrong here......
BTW, if I connect the drive to a targus USB2 hub, it keeps disconnecting...I needed to connect directly to my 7515 to make it work.
