ALrighty i got the MX7525 and i have a question for ya. I have 1gb memory which is standard on the machine.

I have seen that it will support up to 1.5GB of mem.

If there are two 512's in there why wouldnt it support 2gb of mem?

It just seems stupid to me.

Btw it is running media center edition and i have absolutely no problems with the machine.

It was a great buy for me.

Sorry about the title missprint it is a MX7525

One of the mem slots is located for easy access. The other one is underneath the keyboard, and while it is also accessable, its not easy to get to, and involves dissasembly of the notebook. This could possibly void your warrenty. Check out the thread I made a while ago. It should clear things up a little. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=43547
