Anyone know what's the model name for the MX7515 wireless adapter? I want to download a new driver for it since it loses signal very easy.

It's a Broadcom and don't bother, they don't have drivers for it on their site.

Why would Intel put their card in a AMD machine? Might want to try the drivers from Broadcom if available.

I searched the Broadcom site and it has a link to the gateway site for their drivers, however, there are many different models with different laptop drivers for broadcom, could someone tell me which gateway laptop has MX7515 compatible drivers?

If you have a Broadcom, it probably is the same as in the 7510http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/getFile.asp?id=19881&dscr=Broadcom%20Wireless%20Network%20Card%20Driver%20for%20Gateway(r)%20M520%20/%207000%20Series%20Notebook%20Computers%20Revision:%203.30.15&uid=103680158

Are you sure that the disconnection problem is not due to the router? Maybe the router needs a firmware update.

I have my desktop and notebook side by side, both using wireless and my desktop doesn't have the disconnection problem, it's the notebook, not my router

I've used mine with the default drivers flawlessly at probably 10 different wireless locations, and never had any dropped signals, in fact its probably more stable than my last HP notebook and the other desktops in my house. Donno why it would affect your's so much.
