Your current drive is PATA (parallel ATA), there is no SATA interface in your MX7515.
The best ones are Hitachi Travelstar 7K100 and Seagate Momentus 7200.1, they're around USD150. Take a look at newegg.
You won't find anything bigger than 100GB though...if you need more capacity you'll need to go down to 5400RPM.

Just one question...do you really need 7200RPM? Did you get the 5400RPM or 4200RPM HDD on your MX7525?
If you already own a 5400RPM you won't notice a big difference unless you do a lot or video editing and rendering....and if that is the case maybe more RAM is the best solution...just some thoughts....

    Good luck!

i am quite sure that this is a 4200 HD i have the FUJITSU MHV2100AT PL (is that the 4200?)

I do a bit of video converting and joining as well as my HD is mostly always full and i do play quite a few games (BF2, Starwars:BF2 ect..)

Your current drive is PATA (parallel ATA), there is no SATA interface in your MX7515. <--- i guess that also applies for the MX7525

Yes it is 4200RPM. Google is your friend. Seagate is supposed to be coming with 7200RPM drives up to 160GB, but who knows when they will make it here.

Then you will see a HUGE difference between a 4200RPM and 7200RPM drive. My MX7515 (almost equal to MX7525) came with a Hitachi 5400 instead of the specified 4200, I was lucky...I guess.
If you do video editing/gaming then I would suggest to go for the faster drive, you can still use your current drive for backup/storage as an external drive, USB enclosures are inexpensive, easy to setup and reliable.

    sorry for the late reply

ya i may wait for seagate to come out with the 160gb laptop HD's
and i need to wait till i get some more money saved up

that will be a nice solution for the current internal HD make it into a USB drive thanks again
