I have the mx7525 and I notice when I unplug my laptop and run off the battery my screen dims on me a little bit. Is there a way I can set my Laptop to run at the maximum brightness even when I am using the battery? I realise this will shorten my battery life but the time periods where my laptop is unplugged are short and few, and they arent long enough where losing 40 min of total battery life will make a difference.

Hit Fn+F8 until the brightness is maxed out again.

Alternatively, you can change the setting in BIOS, but I wouldn't recommend tweaking that.
