I am currently using MagicISO 5.5 (build 0256) to create ISO files of my video games and operating disc.
Ive wondered how many people on here with Gaming gateways have had any problems burning ISOs?

do people still burn ISOs ?

***edit to make more clear ***
hdd storage is so cheap, why burn at all, just store your image and mount and install when needed.

when really needed, never had issues burning ISOs; using Power2go deluxe, PowerISO or IsoBuster.

Its nice to get preventitive moderating and all... but he was asking about ISO's of his own games

I do this all the time as i find it difficult to travel with all of my gaming discs and dont want the hassle of them getting damaged. Plus why have 640gb of Hard drive if your not going to use it.

    Thanks Kamin_Majere
I was wondering if I was going to burn the iso's that it would have some sort of problem, such as copyright law. I experienced it a while back but that was on XP. Like Nero would say, "Cannot burn iso, because its a protected software/dvd/etc."

I believe you are allowed to make copies of your own disks, but you may google that. I use magic iso to keep digital copies of my stuff so I don't have to carry a bunch of cds/dvds around with me when I deploy. As far as burning them goes, i use dvd decrypter to burn isos because its free fast and works well.
