Hello. My gateway laptop ceased working correctly a few days ago after a restart. I restarted my laptop, and because I forgot restarting doesn't work, I had to manually power down and turn on my laptop. Unfortunately for me, my laptop now no longer displays anything on the screen, but all of the LEDs light up (except for the wireless signal and the other red ones above the trackpad).

Also, 50% of the time the laptop will shut off after a few seconds, and even less frequently will turn back on after shutting off on its own.

Does anyone have any ideas or similar problems?

    Thanks

Have you ever done any upgrades or repairs... CPU swap, replace thermal paste/pads? Have you tried: Hooking it to an external monitor? Reseating memory? Trying to power up on AC only without the battery?
