First of all this is not a lengthy benchmarking post, perely comments on my experience.

That being said it's been pretty good.

I have the game maxed out except v-sync at 1440x900, it runs very smoothly, but with slight hiccups, changing from scene to scene, not what I'd really call lag, but noticeable nonetheless

HOWEVER: it definitely runs smooth enough merit a purchase if you're on the fence about performance.

    ALSO: It's REALLY good.

just image if you had a faster cpu.....hummmm, think that would take care of the small hiccups???

I dunno...I find that some games have them and some don't, COD4 hiccups sometimes, but runs great, while crysis doesn't hiccup, but runs slower. It's possible, but I dunno.

ok.. was just checking because all games seem to run pretyy smooth on mine, while when i had a slow cpu in, it would stutter from time to time.

I read a couple of articles about the game, and both said that it is a processor hog, so I imagine the better /faster processor you have the better the game will run. I'll have to try it with my T9300 and see how it does.

ya im going to snag a t9300 soonish for my 6860 most of my games run very well on the stock proc but the extra cache and mhz bump will definitely help .'

mass effect runs well, but in the citadel and even on the ship it can start to chug abit and im somewhat of a framerate wh*re :).

Just bought this game yesterday. It seems to run pretty flawlessly with the laptop totally stock and settings maxed with res at 1440x900. Maybe a few slowdowns during intense combat. I'm also planning on dropping in a T9300 as soon as I get my next paycheck :).

Just got it. Space opera. It's squad, 3 person, based so far. In a fire fight you get busy with the learning curve of selecting right weapon from your guys or exquisitely clad form fitted squad babe. No fat girls here!

    Game runs great. $39 @CC.

On my upgraded 6831 it runs smooth as silk.

I played this game through six times on the 360 - I loves it. It's best on PC though.

UE3 games like the 8800 IMO.
