I have a p-7801u but I replaced my screen recently. I just want to find out which Gateway model everybody has and the maximum refresh rate of their LCD's.

    I'll start: 59 Hz.

    What OS are you running?

I dont think its the panel, i think its actually a glitch in Windows where the OS wont register 60 and instead registers as 59

Well, I have Vista Home Premium just like everyone else, and my old LCD had a 60 Hz function, so this leads me to think that it is the fault of my new LCD, and not the OS. However, my old LCD was an AUO LCD, and my new LCD is from LG. I just wanted to see whether or not everybody who had the LG had 59 Hz as well.

I have a LG one too and everytime I restart the computer it always defaults to 59 Hz and I basically have to manually set it to 60 Hz.
