yeah so i have a P-7805u and I love it..but as is with technology..a few months later a new FX comes out...--> Model: P-7915u FX
namly with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M
    Are these GPU's removable/replacabe?
I had a dell Inspiron 8x00 series some time ago and the GPU's were able to be removed/replaced and upgraded to the better ones of the series...
Would I be able to do that with this one?

I know it's new but would anyone know if the chassis the same? So in the future, would I be able to just swap the motherboard into my 7805u? (if the GPU's are not removable)

Sorry you can't replace them. And if you did like a mobo swap and all that it seems like the work isn't really worth it, the cards are basically the same, not a big difference in performance.

I hate how people get this mixed up so lets get this over with ive seen it to many times now THE 9800M gts and the GTX260m ARE DIFFRENT the 9800m gts has 64 pipelines were the GTX260 has 112 pipelines they both have diffrent memory and core clocks. Now on the outer hand the 9800M GTX has 112 pipelines and its 65nm were the GTX260 is a 55nm the 9800m GTX has 500mhz core 1250mhz shader and a 800mhz memory the GTX260 has 550core 1375mhz shader and 950mhz memory IF ANYTHING the 9800m GTX is closest to the GTX260m just think of the GTX260m as a revised 9800MGTX last time i checked the old gateways had 9800m GTS.

IN 3dmark 06 the GTX260M scores from 10-11k depending on the setup 9k is low.
In 3dmark 06 the 9800m GTS score from 9300-9700 depending on setup.

BUT dont let 3dmark06 be your score look at gaming Benchamrks the GTX260 is about 10-15% faster depending on your setup. the better your cpu is the less bottle neck you will have.
