What are the specs for the memory, timings etc?
    CPU-Z tells me that I have DDR2....
    I know that is wrong...
So what are the actual numbers?

CPU-Z still needs to update it's IDs... go to the SPD tab and it should say DDR3

It did, but the speed says 533 mhz.
According to what is said in the 7811 guide, the speed is actually 1066 or w/e that other number is... I'm pretty much kinda confused.

yeah 3dMark06 picks up my system memory as 667MHz DDR2, when I know it is the 1066MHz DDR3.

Well unless Gateway wants a lawsuit for mislabeling PC components thinking the end user won't know the difference I assumed they are.

    DDR3 PC8500 CL-7 - 1066mHz @ 7-7-7-20 timings. - 533 x 2 = 1066. 1066 RAM is a 1:1 Ratio with the FSB of your system. It's dual data rate... hence, DDR. You can research it all on your own.. but, it is DDR3.

DDR2 won't fit in the same RAM socket.
